This book reveals many of the key events that take place in the four books of the Laura's Dash series, as well as additional information on characters, both factual and fictional. It also provides inside information about which characters and events were made up and why they were created. This book gives an in-depth look at the evolution of the Laura's Dash series, spanning the turbulent years of 1903 to 1966.

This book answers many questions about my maternal grandmother's fictionalized story. Many of the places are real, but the people and events portrayed are based on things that took place during the actual time period. There are many photographs of Laura and the family members, so that readers can see what they looked like.
